Super Easy Pulled Chicken

We all have those days where we only have about 5 minutes to make dinner.

This is that kind of recipe – Easy Peasy!

Make it before you go to work or put it on at lunch; whichever works better with your schedule.

I love to make my own food, and it is a lot healthier for you; however, not always feasible time wise. So, when I do eat processed or packaged food I make sure I have the cleanest ingredients that I can find.

My mother in law introduced me to this BBQ sauce. It is called “Bone Suckin Sauce” it is delicious! The best part is it has simple ingredients: Tomato Paste, Apple Cider Vinegar, Honey, Molasses, Mustard, Horseradish, Lemon Juice, Onions, Garlic, Peppers, Natural Hickory Smoke Flavour, Natural Spices, Salt and Xanthan Gum.

So, when you’re in a pinch this is the way to go.

Super Easy Pulled Chicken

Serves 6-8

4 Organic Chicken Breasts

1 Jar Bone Suckin Sauce

Juice of 2 Lemons

1 Onion

Chop the onion into small pieces and put in a crock pot along with the whole organic chicken breasts.

Juice two lemons and pour over the chicken. The acid in the lemons help make the meat more tender.

Pour the entire jar of sauce over the chicken and onions, making sure it is completely covered.

Cook on high for about 5 hours or low for about 8 hours.

Check on it about halfway through, and flip the chicken., If the chicken is cooked pull it apart into smaller pieces.

About an hour before it is finished, transfer it to a bowl and shred the chicken with two forks.

Put the shredded chicken back in the slow cooker for the remaining amount of time to absorb the flavours of the sauce some more.

Serve on a bun, or in a wrap or eat it on its own.

I love it on tofayan gluten free wraps.
