Healthy Fruit Popsicles!

Okay Spring and summer are just around the corner... the kids are home... and you are looking for fun ways to entertain them and feed them healthy food.

Here is a simple recipe/idea you can use to make both of you happy :)

In a blender mix coconut yogurt with any fruit. I like a 65 percent fruit to 35 percent yogurt ratio. If the mixture is too thick add a bit more coconut yogurt.

If it needs to be sweetened you can add maple syrup or honey to taste.

I always choose an organic unsweetened coconut yogurt. Better yet, make your own - check out our blog post "Make Your Own Coconut Yogurt".

If you are not a fan of yogurt try replacing it with cashew cream or coconut cream.

The best thing is that you can customize it to your kids tastes and it contains no artificial flavourings, colourings, glucose, refined sugars etc. Just a fresh healthy treat!

If you want to add some protein or healthy fats add avocado, chia seeds, hemp seeds, or a vegan plant based protein powder like this one. This is one of my favorite protein powders from how it is sourced and absorbed into the body. And best of all there is no risk - if you don't like it within the first 4 months it is 100 % money back guarantee. Please e-mail me at info@thewellnessequation.ca if you have more questions.
